About us

Aromaster kits are the result of a collaboration between two sensory experts: Mitsuko Asakura, Japanese Aroma Artist, and Arnaud Mirey, French Michelin Star Sommelier, Wine & Spirits Educator, and former Ambassador of various Champagne houses (Dom Pérignon, Krug, Ruinart, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot), Wine Estates (Château d’Yquem, Cloudy Bay, Terrazas, Newton, Numanthia), Cognac (Hennessy), and Whiskies (Glenmorangie and Ardbeg).

The first brainchild of their collaboration, the Sommelier Wine Aroma Kit, was released in 2006. Since then, the team has combined their knowledge and expertise to create kits for various themes, workshops, and training needs. Today, Aromaster offers a collection of 120 aromas commonly found in wine, whisky, tea, coffee, beer, sake, tequila, cognac and cigars.
