Speech therapist and trainer, specializing in olfactory rehabilitation, I use odorants from various families with my patients who have lost their sense of smell or have persistent olfactory distortions following a Covid infection or a head injury (or for other reasons, as the loss of smell did not unfortunately appear with Covid). I also use odors in my rehabilitation sessions with people for whom I aim to establish functional nasal breathing, with autistic children, or with patients who have eating-related oral issues. Olfactory therapy is useful and recognized by several studies with patients in neuro-geriatric or neurology settings to stimulate or restore memory, language, and communication. Aromaster’s scents are quite suitable for this work as they are close enough to reality that patients can make good sensory memory evocations. The goal is to stimulate not only the olfactory receptors but also the brain networks, as olfactory rehabilitation must also be cognitive. Bad odors (wine faults for oenologists) are useful for working on distorted odors that are very difficult to recover in some patients. This material complements my "toolbox" in olfactotherapy for even more effective treatments!

Out of five human senses, the most unused one is the sense of smell. This sense can be enhanced with education. I recommend the Master Wine Aroma collection created by Aromaster, which is a perfect training tool for identifying aromas in wine. Aromaster is useful for both adult wine lovers, as well as for children in order to help them build a memory of smell.

Finally a qualitative wine aroma kit that offers a wide selection of realistic wine scents. The Aromaster is an excellent tool for wine lovers, who wish to train their nose and a great gift for the whole family with its board game.

Firstly I’d like to mention how luxurious the packaging is, the presentation box really looks the part in our tasting room. The kit has a wide variety of aromas (far more than kits we have used previously) and all being relevant to the whisky making process, whether that be desirable aromas or off-notes. There’s a manual inside which includes the origins of whisky, something that would definitely be useful for new starters in our Visitor Centre. There’s also an aroma wheel which includes information for whiskies, which is useful for understanding the characteristics of other brands. The quality of the aromas themselves is also something that will assist me with my training as the aromas are authentic and strong smelling. Overall, I think the set will help me develop my nosing and tasting techniques further as well as developing my knowledge of the industry. I look forward to using the set as part of my ongoing training.

This is one of the most useful tools on the market for training one’s sense memory. Tasting – blind or otherwise – is 80% on the nose and an integral aspect of wine appreciation; this kit allows one to hone those skills with unparalleled comprehension, short of wine itself. The beautifully designed board game also allows you to make the experience more fun and immersive for your friends or tasting group. Whether your a wine aficionado or just an enthusiastic sipper, this set will enhance your wine experience.

Sommeliers and oenologists who tested the Aromaster wine aroma kit were delighted. One of them already knew and highly recommended your box to us. The others really appreciated it.

I have been working with the Master Wine Aroma Kit (88 aromas) for a year already and I am very happy about the results. The exactitude of the aromas, which is not a common thing in other kits allow me to interact with my guests with the confidence they are smelling a true aroma. The diversity of the aromas including also the defaults of the wines is a great help to create a dynamic and a progression during the games. The best item for me is the corked aroma. This essential and must do step during the wine tasting is to test if the wine is corked or not, in order to decide if the wine is drinkable or not. The best way to learn how to recognise it is to be facing it, being able to get familiar with this smell and the Aromaster kit is helping a lot on that. I use it a lot for individuals as well as staff training in restaurants.
